1. Clean up
 
According to the experiences of after-sale service, we found that most users had not cleaned up their machines after using them. It is especially important to clean up the machine in winter. Also regularly oil-filling and lubrication are same important for the CNC router.
 
Rapidtech CNC recommends:
 
1) After turning off the router, it is necessary to clean up the worktable by water immediately. The other part of router should also be cleaned up if trash left;
2) Regular screw, rail and rack cleaning: in case of reducing of operation precision and speed;
3) Regular electrical box cleaning: to keep circuit board working orderly.
 
2.  Oiling
 
Lubrication may be ignored by seasonal industries, which is important to the router. Please lubricate the router following the notes:
 
1) Clean up the rail and screw before lubrication. In the winter, please use antifreeze oil;
2) Lubricate twice a week;
3) After lubrication, order the router to go through the worktable slowly.
4) During the normal holiday shutdown, please do remember to lubricate the router regularly.
 
3. Temperature
 
Please pay more attention on maintenance in winter if it is a router with water-cooling spindle.
 
1) The temperature of workshop should be higher than the standard temperature of oil;
2) While the router is in idle in winter, please empty the water tank.
 
4. Computer security
 
Error of computer which is connected to the router would directly affect the operation of router. There are some advise listed below:
 
1) Regularly apply ash clean-out to computer case;
2) Run Disk Cleanup and Disk Defragmenter at least once a month;
3) Run antivirus software regularly, but do not do it while operating the router.
